My name is Lynda Christie and I am a ceremony celebrant. I am an experienced professional public speakers who writes and performs civil ceremonies.

After working for many years as a local authority registrar I understand the restrictions and legalities surrounding wedding ceremonies and licensed venues. I can help you achieve the wedding of your dreams whilst dealing with these restrictions.

Bespoke Ceremonies

Weddings - You may not realise but in a civil marriage there are only two sets of legal words that have to be said in a registry office or licensed venue. These are the "Declaratory" and the "Contracting" words. The rest of the marriage ceremony can be written about you, for you and the way you want it to be. This much more personal wedding ceremony can be conducted in any venue or location of your choice.

All of my ceremonies are professionally written and conducted. I will work with you and provide you with a bespoke ceremony created with the care and personal touches you want on your special day. I am also here to give advice and help to ensure your day is about you!

Funerals - There is no legal requirement for a funeral service to be conducted by a religious person or local authority registrar. I will be honoured to provide a funeral service to celebrate the life of a loved one, should you have to arrange their final farewell service. I will take time and commitment to write a funeral service that reflects your loved ones life.
